The Safari EV will compete against Mahindra’s upcoming XUV.e8, which is the Electrified version of the XUV 7OO. 

The Safari EV will be based on the new Acti.ev platform that has been developed by Tata Motors for their Born Electric vehicles. The SUV will possibly be bigger in size with the biggest Battery Pack ever in any Indian-made EV as well. We expect it to have a 65-75 kWh Battery pack, which will make the SUV run for over 600 km at one full charge.

It will have bright-colored interiors with dual-tone leather finish in various areas. It will have a 12.25-inch Infotainment screen to provide all the information and convenience. It will also host Tata’s Arcade.ev that lets to play games, watch OTT platforms, etc while the EV is being charged. The Safari EV will also host a design change on the exterior to adapt to the typical EV-ness.

The Safari EV could be priced at ₹35 Lakh. 

6 - VinFast VF 9

VinFast is a brand that is about to enter the Indian Automotive market. This brand has put forward its plans of establishing a manufacturing factory in India by agreeing to all the latest terms & conditions of the government. VinFast is a pure EV brand with quite a lot of Cars and SUVs on sale in the USA. The VF9 is the most popular in the lineup. 

The VF 9 happens to be the brand’s flagship 8-seater SUV. It has a huge road presence and almost looks like an American full-size SUV from the outside. The SUV gets a massive 123 kWh battery pack that offers a range of complete 500 km. This battery pack is a powerhouse, as it produces 402 hp and charges from 10 - 70 % within 35 minutes. 

The VF 9 gets a single 15.6-inch screen in the cabin for all the Informative and convenience purposes. It acts as both an Infotainment screen and an Instrument Cluster. The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is one of those SUVs, which is bound to launch in the coming months. Skoda will bring the second generation of the Kodiaq as per its Indian timeline. 

This new 2025 Kodiaq will be different in terms of all the aspects. The design of this SUV will be a major talking point, as it has been made bigger and given a new look. The 2025 Kodiaq will revive the same engine it offers now in the Indian market - The 2.0 L TSI Petrol Engine - 190 hp and 320 Nm torque. The International spec gets many powertrain options, out of which, there is a 2.0 L Diesel, too. But, the arrival of the Diesel is close to none, as the brand has stopped selling Diesel powertrains in India.

It truly lives up to the mark of being one. The XUV 7OO rivals the likes of Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Jeep Meridian, Hyundai Alcazar, etc. 

The XUV 7OO is powered by two brilliant engines that have been developed and made in India - a 2.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine and a 2.2 L Turbo Diesel Engine.
