Why Launch expected

The launch of the 2024 Ford Endeavour is still not confirmedbut is highly expected from the events happening since late 2023, from Fordrefusing to sell their Chennai plant to any carmaker (even at a decentvaluation), to Ford patenting the design of their New Generation Everest Indiaand finally ford Officials making a job postings for Tech engineers for their EVbusiness, so all these do hint at a positive trend towards Ford making acomeback.

 2024 Ford Endeavour Exterior

The new Generation Ford Endeavour (Everest) carries the oldEndy vibes with all-new tech and Gizmos, at the front you get the same uprightlook with an all-straight bonnet with a big front grill covered in chrome orall-black depending on the variant you choose. The front headlights have arange matrix function with daytime running LED DRLs, and the lower parts of thebumper contain the ADAS sensor and a grey-colored skid plate.

 On the side, the new 2024 Endeavour is bigger and mightierthan before with a 4.91-meter length, much longer than Fortuner’s 4.79 metersand almost as par with Land Cruiser Prado’s 4.92 meters.

the New Endeavour gets a complete SUV look,with big wheel arches, straight window lines, and an all-straight roofline withbig Roof bars, and just like many other American SUVs, the new Endeavour gets thevariant badging on the lover part of the front door.

At the minimum, Ford offers 17-inch 5-spoke alloys in thebase trim, but we get 20 inchers in the Titanium trim destined for India andeven 21 inchers in the top-of-the-line Platinum trim.

The back is where the most advancements are done now you geta connected light treatment with Everest written in the Middle, the Lights havea 3D effect, and the Rear glass is slightly tilted like the previousgeneration. The rear bumper gets a more rugged feel with skid plates which canbe even enhanced more by purchasing the wildtrack trim.

2024 Ford Endeavour engines

In the international market, the new 2024 Ford Endeavour getsthe option of two diesel units – a 2.0l bi-turbo inline 4 engine producing200Hp and 500nm of torque or a 3.0l V6 Diesel powerhouse producing 243hp and600Nm of torque, both mated to a 10-speed transmission. The V6 is the moredesirable one but most probably Ford will bring the 2.0l bi-turbo to the Indianshores due to an almost ₹6 Lakh price difference. (I am happy to pay thisdifference).

2024 Ford Endeavour Interior

The real upgrades have happened on the inside of the newFord Endeavour, where you get a plush combination of big screens, soft-touchmaterials and comfortable seats. The dashboard contains a big 10-inch or12-inch vertical screen which controls almost the entire height of thedashboard and controls almost 90% of all controls.

The steering is a three-spoke one with more than 30 buttonsto control the vehicle's ADAS system or the 10-inch fully digital instrumentcluster which contains all the functions like navigation stereo etc.

The center console contains the thick and wide gear selector(that’s what she said) and a mode selector to choose between the 4-wheel highor low options.

The seats have good cushioning with heated and ventilated function,the roof contains a big panoramic sunroof and the third-row seats areelectrically foldable if Platinum trim is chosen.

In the Indian market, Ford is expected to launch the Titaniumand Platinum variants only as they offer all the tech and gizmos on offer andalso are the variants where Ford makes the Maximum Profits

The Titanium variant with the bi-turbo diesel is expected tocost around ₹55 lakhs On Road in India

The platinum variant can go up to ₹ 65 lakhs On road pricein India
