1 - Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 CNG

As we are aware of what are ‘Keywords’, and how they are important for any website, the same case is with the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800. Well, if you type CNG, Fuel Efficient, and Affordable, we are sure that you will be getting a picture of the Alto 800. 

So, the Alto 800 is the most affordable CNG car available in India today. It is the car from where the whole Indian Automobile Industry starts, and hypothetically, it can also be called the nation’s first car. It is a simple 5-door mini-hatchback, which focuses on only two factors throughout, which are practical and affordable usage. With the basic offerings inside, the Alto 800 is simply made for buyers who want the most efficient vehicle in terms of its maintenance. 

On the inside, the Alto 800 remains to be the most basic car of all. With a Manual Air Conditioning System, Only Front Power windows, and a basic Music System, the Alto 800 becomes very reliable and easy to use. 

The Alto 800 packs an 800 cc - 3 Cylinder Engine, which produces power figures of about 50 PS and 70 Nm of Torque. When in the CNG mode, it delivers an astonishing mileage figure of 30 km per KG, which makes the Alto 800 run up to 240 km on a full CNG tank. 2 - Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG

After the Alto 800, we would suggest the Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG. It is a better version of the Alto 800 CNG, as it packs upgraded equipment over the Alto. The feature list, design, and engine, all these factors are much better engineered in the Celerio. 

To speak of it in detail, the Celerio CNG got its generational update last year in 2022. This generational update paved the path for a slew of changes, both internally and externally. In design terms, it has more curves compared to its previous generation; we can say that this new design change made for the Celerio makes it look better than the previous one.

On the inside, it has been polished around the edges, which has made the overall appearance of the interior slightly better. Moreover, for your information, the Celerio CNG is only available in its Base model, which is the VXI. 3 - Tata Tiago i-CNG

After the Celerio, we would suggest going for the Tata Tiago i-CNG. Yes, a CNG car from Tata Motors. Now, you might have some questions, as next should be the Wagon R, as it is one of the best-selling CNG cars out there. Well, it was one of the best-selling CNG vehicles because there was no better alternative for it, and now, there is.

Tata Tiago i-CNG is nothing but a revolution. We always got annoyed with the small CNG cars, as the tank usually eats up all of the boot space. But, this time, Tata Motors has introduced the Twin Cylinder Technology. Basically, the Tiago has a 60-litre CNG tank, but instead of having one single 60-litre tank, Tata Motors has given two 30-litre tanks, which ultimately eats way less boot space, ultimately leaving some usable space in the boot. 

We all know that the Tiago is nothing but a mini tank, and we are sure we will be safe if some unfortunate incident happens. Moreover, the first two CNG cars that we mentioned, the Tata Tiago i-CNG is leagues ahead of them in terms of its safety. 

Under the hood, the Tiago i-CNG has a 1.2 L - 3 Cylinder Engine that makes the max power output of 72 PS and 95 Nm of Torque. The Tiago i-CNG is one of the most practical CNG cars you could buy at the price point of ₹6.5 lacs  ex-showroom .

4 - Tata Punch i-CNG

You might think that Tata cars are not that reliable to have, but we should accept that Tata Motors has improved itself in almost every way possible. Secondly, since Tata Motors has introduced this Twin Cylinder Technology in their cars, it is nearly impossible not to recommend one of them to anyone. Thus, the fourth suggestion that we choose to put forward is the Tata Punch i-CNG.
