For the past two years, the Nexon has been the best-selling SUV almost every month, but this time things changed. This time, Maruti has topped, plus Kia Seltos has made a strong comeback.

With that said, let us discuss the sales chart of the Top 10 best-selling SUVs in August 2023 in India .

Up top stands, as always, Maruti Brezza. This car was on the waiting list for the past two years, as the Nexon had a firm grip on the first spot. But, in the month of August 2023, the Brezza clocks the sales mark of 14,572 units, which is 1,973 units less than the previous month, July 2023 - and 621 units less than August 2022.

The position below the Top seller has been acquired by the Indian car Tata Punch. The Punch, too, has been consistently performing well and has been showing the possibilities of doing better in terms of sales. This time, Punch has marked sales of 14,523 units in the month of August 2023, which is more than the previous month, July 2023, by 2,504 units and 2,517 units more than August 2022.

The Korean car - Hyundai Creta has acquired the Third position. The Creta, too, has been performing well for a long time, and now it has managed to sell 13,832 units in the month of August 2023, which is less than the month of July 2023 by 230 units and 1,255 units more than August 2022.

The fourth position in the list has been caught by Maruti Fronx. In the month of August 2023, it marked sales of 12,164 units, which is less than the month of July 2023 by 1,056 units and August 2022 sales figures are not available, as it was launched in April 2023.

The fifth position gives place to the Maruti Grand Vitara. The Grand Vitara has been performing well since its launch, as it is the only SUV giving 25 Km/l mileage in its segment. It has managed to reach the mark of 11,818 units in the month of August 2023, which is 2,739 units more than in the month of July 2023 and August 2022 sales figures are not available, as it was launched in September 2022.

The sixth position has been given to Hyundai Venue. It is thatone car which has always been lying in the shadows of Nexon and Brezza. This time, it grabbed the figure of 10,948 units in the month of August 2023, which is more than the month of July 2023 by 886 units, and it sold 292 units less than in the month of August 2022.

The Seventh position is equipped by Korean smarty - KIA Seltos, which has seen a sales figure of 10,698 units in the month of August 2023, which is more than the month of July 2023 by 958 units and more than the month of August 2022 by 2,046 units.

The Duo of Mahindra Scorpio N / Scorpio Classic is the next one, who is standing in the eighth position. They have managed to sell 9,898 units in the month of August 2023, which is less than the month of July 2023 by 624 units and 2,842 units more than in the month of August 2022.

Mahindra Bolero Neo / Bolero have booked the second last spot. They sold 9,092 units in the month of August 2023, which is more by 171 units than in the month of July 2023 and more by 846 units than in the month of August 2022.

The once-upon-a-time Top Seller, Tata Nexon , has won the last or the Tenth position. It has managed to sell 8,049 units in the month of August 2023, which is less than the month of July 2023 by 4,300 units and less by 7,036 units than in the month of August 2022. However, this sudden downfall in its sales is because of the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift. In the next month, October 2023, we might see a great comeback, expecting about 15,000  - 18,000 sales.
