In the month of December 2023, it sold a total of 1,04,778 units, which is 29,380 units less than the previous month, November 2023, and 7,232 units more than December 2022.
The Second spot has been acquired by Tata Motors by surpassing Hyundai. We have seen quite a few times in the past, when Tata Motors overtook Hyundai, and this is one of those times. Tata Motors has managed to sell 43,471 units in the month of December 2023, which is less than the previous month, November 2023, by 2,599 units and 3,426 units more than December 2022.
Hyundai has slipped into the Third position. We have been seeing Hyundai’s work in revising its product line-up a lot, and this is the reason why it is standing in the third position, today. Hyundai sold 42,750 units in the month of December 2023, which is less than the month of November 2023 by 6,701 units and 3,919 units more than December 2022.
The Fourth position is reserved by India’s true SUV king, Mahindra. The year 2024, might be even more flourishing for the brand, as many of their new cars are coming. In December 2023, they sold 35,171 units, less than the month of November 2023 by 4,810 units and 6,833 units more than December 2022.
Toyota Motors is the brand, which has claimed the Fifth spot, again, in this list. Kia Motors and Toyota are playing Tom & Jerry in this game, as one of them is winning every single time. Toyota sold 21,372 units in December 2023, which is 4,448 units more than in November 2023 and 10,421 units more than in December 2022.
The Sixth spot has been awarded to the smarty of the class, Kia Motors. With their updated products, still, surprisingly, they have not managed to do well. They sold 12,536 units in the month of December 2023, which is less than the month of November 2023 by 10,226 units, and they sold 2,648 units less than in the month of December 2022.
The team of engineers doing over-engineering in every one of their products, well, we all know who is it, Honda Motors. This time, Honda has shown a sales figure of 7,902 units in the month of December 2023, which is less than the month of November 2023 by 828 units and more than the month of December 2022 by 840 units.
This time, the German has jumped two steps above. We are talking about Volkswagen, they have managed to sell 4,930 units in the month of December 2023, which is more than the month of November 2023, by 1,835 units and 221 units more than in the month of December 2022.
Skoda, the Simply Clever one, this time has grabbed a sale number of 4,670 units in the month of December 2023; it's more by 887 units than in the month of November 2023 and less by 119 units than in the month of December 2022.
