We all love SUVs, as they are the most practical type of vehicles in the passenger segment. They provide a feel and give an experience unlike any other car. Today, we will discuss the Top 10 best-selling SUVs of India in October 2023, and there are some big comebacks and surprises. Let us get into it.
Up top stands Tata Nexon. This Tata star has made a strong and blistering comeback. With some unexpected and out-of-the-world features, Nexon proves to be a deserving candidate for the first spot. In the month of October 2023, the Nexon clocks the sales mark of 16,887units, which is 1,562 units more than the previous month, September 2023 - and 3,120 units more than October 2022.
2. Maruti Brezza – Holding Strong at #2
The position below the Top seller has been acquired by the Japanese giant Maruti Suzuki with the help of its Maruti Brezza. Till the new Nexon came into play, it was enjoying being at the top, but as soon as the new Nexon arrived, Brezza slid below it. This time, Brezza has marked sales of 16,050 units in the month of October 2023, which is more than the previous month, September 2023, by 1,049 units and 6,109 units more than October 2022.
Next up in the third spot is Tata Punch. A product that hit right from its launch and set a benchmark throughout its segment. October 2023’s sale figures of the Punch also happens to be the most since it was launched, and it is 15,317 units in the month of October 2023, which is more than the month of September 2023 by 2,281 units and 4,335 units more than October 2022.
Below the third runner-up, the fourth position is received by our favorite Indian Mahindra Scorpio / N. The true SUV of its segment, which sets some serious records and marks for its rivals. In the month of October 2023, it marked sales of 13,578 units, more than the month of September 2023 by 1,732 units, and compared to October 2022 sales figures, it is more than 6,140 units.
5. Hyundai Creta – The Segment Favorite
The fifth position gives place to the Hyundai Creta. An SUV that has been unbeatable in its segment but still somehow got beaten up by the Scorpio N. It has managed to reach the mark of 13,007 units in the month of October 2023, which is 290 units more than in the month of September 2023, and 1,127 units more than the October 2022 sales.
The sixth position has been given to one of India’s most intelligent vehicles, the Kia Seltos. The new update to this vehicle has made it look more smart and stylish; it sure does look unique in its segment. This time, it grabbed the figure of 12,362 units in the month of October 2023, which is more than the month of September 2023 by 1,804 units, and it sold 2,585 units more than in the month of October 2022.
Coming up on the seventh spot is an SUV, which, since the launch of the pre-facelift Nexon and Brezza, has been trying to cope but failing every time. Well, we are talking about the Hyundai Venue and this month, it showed a sales figure of 11,581 units in the month of October 2023, which is less than the month of September 2023 by 623 units, and speaking of its last year, October 2022 sales, it managed to sell 1,996 units more of itself.
8. Maruti Fronx – The Stylish Newcomer
Maruti’s sexiest-looking SUV, the Maruti Fronx, has grabbed the eighth spot in this list. It has managed to sell 11,357 units in the month of October 2023, which is less than the month of September 2023 by 98 units, and in the month of October 2022, it didn’t sell anything, as it was launched in 2023.
9. Maruti Grand Vitara – Premium SUV Performer
Maruti’s second true SUV, the Maruti Grand Vitara, has made a run for the ninth spot. It sold 10,834 units in the month of October 2023, which is less by 902 units than in the month of September 2023 and more by 2,782 units than in the month of October 2022.
