After three long years of waiting, Tata Motors will finally launch another new car. A completely new car and not any kind of Facelift. This is huge, and definitely exciting as we already know enough about this upcoming car. We all are aware that it is going to be the Tata Curvv.ev, and its ICE version later. But, what is more exciting than this is spotting it being tested on-road nowadays. We recently got our hands over great footage sent by one of our Carversal Pros of this is Tata Curv.ev being tested. What new has been spotted on the Tata Curvv?

Sequential Turn Indicators on the Tata Curvv -
Well, if the 2024 Tata Nexon Facelift gets the feature of Sequential Turn indicators, then it is obvious that a car that will sit above the Nexon will have it, too. LED Headlamps are a must nowadays for a car to have, since, every other consumer has started to consider features a lot. Tata Curvv surely ticks this box, as it is equipped with this useful feature. Moreover, these LED Headlamps are coming straight off the 2024 Tata Nexon Facelift, so we are very concrete on the fact that they are very powerful, and they lit up the road pretty well, too. Basically, it is a setup of three LED beams, out of which one works as the primary beam, and the other two work as the Fog lamps.
Apparently, if you want to attract customers to your car, you would need to insert a lot of features because this is what attracts all the customers today. The more car brands become creative in the distribution of all the features in a car, the more their product becomes popular, as it then gets the ‘Value For Money’ tag. We saw Tata Motors doing this on the 2024 Tata Nexon Facelift, and it is very obvious that the same is going to happen in the Curvv as well. Secondly, this is a good feature to make standard throughout the range, as it is one the most important factors when it comes to safety.
The test mule of the Tata Curvv, which can be seen in the pictures, has the feature of 360 degree Camera System. We can clearly spot the side camera on the ORVM. Hence, this confirms that the Curvv will also get the 360 degree Camera System. Overall, speaking of the 360 degree Camera System of Tata Motors that they use on all the cars ranging from Nexon - It is the most fluent and clear camera system throughout the segment. In fact, we can also claim that it is the best in the segment. It gets a very crystal clear quality for all the cameras, plus, it also has 2D and 3D modes, in which the footage gives a very high-resolution view of the surround. We can say that it is the best feature in the car, and the fact that Curvv will get it too is great, as well.
As we saw in the conceptual version of the Curvv, the long LED Brake light seems to have made its way into the production avatar, as well. Well, it was quite evident that the LED bar would make up the production avatar of the Curvv, as it is a good design for the light, and it also goes well with the Coupe bodyline of the vehicle.
As of now, we know that Tata Curvv will have a total of two engine options. One of these two engines is already in use in their Nexon, on the other hand, the other one is a completely new unit. On-going 1.5 L Turbocharged Revotorq Diesel Engine - Tata Curvv will borrow this 1.5 L Diesel engine from the current Nexon. This engine produces about 83 hp and 260 Nm of Torque, but these power figures are produced while this engine is used in the Nexon. Most probably, we believe that this same engine will be re-tuned, and will be made to produce more power, which might be up to 115 hp. As for the Torque, it will probably remain the same at 260 Nm. Tata Curvv to have same Grille as Nexon -
Tata Curvv’s Grille can be seen from an angle in the pictures. We can say that Curvv’s grille will be a lot identical to the one in the 2024 Tata Nexon Facelift. It has the same layout, as it is divided into two parts, one of it is a small one, and the other one is a big one. We can also see the small slats in the upper grille, which are identical to the ones in the Nexon Facelift.
