Skoda superb is one of the Most value for Money sedans on Offer in India as it offers Audi A6 level luxury with the price point of Toyota Fortuner and the power of an Audi also. Lat Year Skoda had discontinued their Superb in India due to low sales figures and upgrades in the international version, but now Skoda has officially unveiled their 2024 Superb for India as to say the least its SUPERB.

2025 Skoda Superb Design 

As said earlier, the 2025 Skoda Superb is a pure full-size sedan. So, its design has to be attractive so that it can compete with the enticing options in the segment, like Mercedes A Class, BMW 2 Sereis, etc.

The 2025 Skoda Superb from the front is substantial, as its measurement exceeds more than 2 meters. Plus, its front design looks like a bigger Slavia, as the design heritage has been maintained by the brand. The grille is very similar to that of any Skoda sedan or SUV we have in India. It gets the same chrome outline, with thin chrome slats inside. In the middle 5 slats, we can see a cover that hides the ADAS’ radar sensor and also the 360* camera’s front unit. Below that we can see a total of 6 Parking sensors, as it gets the Self-Park feature. At the bottom, we can see a simple rectangular grille that has a net-like design given to it. It is also the primary air dam of the car. Overall, the design looks very neat and clean, moreover,  the use of chrome is also done tastefully, thus increasing the elegant factor. 

The Headlamps on the front get a similar design, as on the other Skoda SUVs and sedans available in India. It gets a ‘Y’ shaped DRL, with two major LED beams that are also known as Skoda Crystal Lighting. 

On the side, the Skoda Superb is long almost measuring up to 5 meters, and it is also decently tall with a height of almost 1.5 meters. It gets a nice smooth flow of design from its side and also looks very proportionate. From the wheels, it gets a set of 19’ wheels with a nice silverish finish. They have sharp spokes in terms of their design, which look very premium. As it is a premium sedan, it does not get any sort of wheel claddings but, it does get minimal wheel arches. The distance between the two wheels creates a wheelbase of almost 2.9 meters. 

The door handles get the conventional design but, they still look very elegant. There is also a slim chrome outline for the window line. The drop-back of the sedan is smooth and decently long. 

At the back, we have, again, the usual Skoda design affair. It has very simple straight lines, with minimal tail lights. The Tail lights of the 2025 Superb have their design inspired by its other siblings. The design is very sharp, yet minimal. The brake light gets the crystal effect, and it also covers the reverse light and indicators from the top. They are all LEDs. 

The Tailgate has a wide opening, as the rear windshield also pops up with the tailgate. We can also see a total of 6 Rear parking sensors for the Self-Park feature. 

2025 Skoda Superb Interiors

Skoda has absolutely changed the face of its cabin in the interior. The 2025 Skoda Superb gets new features in a mix with the brand’s practicality offering.

The Dashboard of the 2025 Skoda Superb is full of leather and upmarket quality. In the middle, there has been given a wooden treatment and a design of slats has been added to it. Moreover, the air vents’ design also matches with the slats, further camouflaging them. 

The Infotainment screen is completely a new unit, which measures 13’. It has a smooth, fresh, and crisp-looking UI. It helps the Driver in many ways, as it displays Skoda’s in-built navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Media Controls, Vehicle data, etc. It has also been placed high in order to have a clear view of it. It also helps in changing and customizing various Drive modes. 

The Instrument Cluster is a well-situated unit, which measures 10’ in size. It also has the same UI and font as the Infotainment screen. It has many display faces, which can be changed depending on the drive mode or also by your choice. It also displays maps on it, further adding convenience. The Steering wheel of the Skoda Superb is the same one, as we get on other Skoda cars like Kushaq, Slavia, and Octavia. It is a two-spoke unit, with plenty of buttons and two rollers on each side for various media and ADAS functions. 

Then, we have the talking point of the Superb, which is the three dials below the Infotainment screen that can be customized for various functionalities. Basically, Skoda has provided three dials with a circular digital screen. All three dials can be used for various functions, like Volume up & down, Drive mode change, Climate control, etc. 

The center console has been cleaned up, as the automatic drive selector has been relocated behind the steering wheel. Now, there is just an electronic parking brake button and a wireless charging pad, the rest of everything has been converted into a covered space. 

As the Superb is a 5-seater sedan, it gets all of its headrests adjustable, with an additional comfort feature to rest your head. It also gets all 5 three-point seatbelts and a tablet holder in the rear armrest. The ambient lighting follows up to the rear doors from the front dashboard. The rear windows get manual sun shades, too. 

The boot space in the new Superb now measures 645 liters. And in the end, as this is a boot of a Skoda car, it has to be filled with practicality. It gets luggage stoppers, nets, a removable light, etc. Overall, the boot has also been designed very well, giving plenty of space for the luggage to rest in. 

2025 Skoda Superb Powertrain 

As we said, the 2025 Skoda Superb India will get a Diesel engine. So, it will get a 2.0 L TDI Diesel Engine, which will produce 150 hp and 400 Nm of Torque. This engine is connected to a 7-speed DSG transmission. With this engine, Skoda will make a re-entry into the Diesel space in the Indian Auto Industry, and also go against the No Diesel engine trend. 

The second engine will be a 2.0 L TSI Petrol Engine, it will produce 201 hp and 320 Nm of Torque. It will also connected to a 7-speed DSG transmission. 

2025 Skoda Superb India Launch Date and Pricing 

The brand has fixed that the 2025 Skoda Superb India is going to be launched on April 3, 2024. 

The Pricing of the 2025 Skoda Superb will be slightly increased, as it will be a CBU unit. Hence, we could expect it to start from ₹35 lacs to ₹40 lacs.
