MG Motor India has launched the Comet EV in a new Blackstorm Edition, the fourth model in the exclusive range of Blackstorm editions that include the Hector, Gloster, and Astor. The Comet EV Blackstorm Edition costs Rs. 9.81 lakh and comes with a unique, all-black body with red highlights, which is different from the regular model. The cabin is carried over to feature black faux leatherette seats, which have the 'Blackstorm' logo embroidered on them for a more upmarket feel. Also, a four-speaker sound system is included in this edition, an improvement from the standard-issue two speakers. Powering the unit remains the 17.4kWh battery that makes 41bhp and 110Nm of torque, good for a claimed range of 230km on a single charge. MG Astor Blackstorm Edition is a stylish variant of the popular MG Astor SUV with an all-black bodywork with red accents that enhance the sporty appearance of the vehicle. With prices starting at Rs. 13.78 lakh for the  Select BLACKSTORM variant and Rs. 14.48 lakh for the Smart MT Black Storm variant, this edition meets a wide range of tastes. It borrows the all-black exterior with fiery red accents from the SUV, which helps it look more urban. The cabin keeps the black and red theme, giving it a modern and stylish atmosphere. The Comet EV is propelled by a 17.3 kWh battery, a practical range for city commuting. Like the standard model, the Blackstorm Edition comes with key features, including a digital instrument cluster and connected car tech, creating a practical and stylish urban offering.
