Maruti Dzire 2024 Launch on 11 November - New Design, Sunroof, etc

Maruti Suzuki has been ruling the Indian Automobile Industry for a long period of time. It is very evident that most of its products are either at the top of their segments or are one of the top ones. One such Maruti product is the Dzire, it is a Swift-based sedan that literally sells more than 10,000 units every month. Most of its sales numbers come from the Commercial Taxi segment, which also helps it to be the top-selling sedan in India. Recently, the fourth generation of the Swift was launched globally by Maruti, and as the Dzire is based on the Swift, since then everyone has been expecting the new generation of the Dzire to arrive, too. Well, Maruti has finally announced the launch dates for its 2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and here are all the details.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Design
The Dzire is usually based heavily on the Swift in terms of every aspect. Well, being mechanically the same is okay but, the Dzire has always had the same design as compared to the Swift, it is only the extra tail end that is different than the Swift, to fit in a typical sedan’s boot.
But, based on a few spy shots of the 2024 Dzire, it has been understood that this new generation will have a different design to that of the fourth generation of the Swift. Overall, the new Dzire will be more premium and upmarket in terms of its design than the Swift. It will have a much more polished version of the current Swift’s design. Secondly, by making the Dzire upmarket, Maruti could try to erase its typical “Taxi” brand image in people’s minds.
To speak more of its design, based on the spy shots and renderings in the industry, the 2024 Dzire will have a triangular shape to its grille, which will extend all the way to the bottom of the front end. All of the grille will be blacked out and the borders might have chrome added to it. The Headlamps would consist of LEDs from the Swift. Moreover, it is also speculated that the 2024 Maruti Dzire could offer ADAS (this is not a strong speculation).
The Side of the sedan will have new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels with clean and a bit boxy design running throughout the body.
Lastly, as the Dzire will be an under-4-meter sedan, so it will have that usual 90-degree cut at the back. It is also probable that the Dzire will get connected to LED Tail lamps. It will also have a Shark-fin Antenna on the roof.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Interiors
The Dzire will not have its interiors different than that of the Swift, unlike its exterior design. But, the Dzire could get more features than the Swift. Recently, a spy shot was circulated, where it had ADAS operative buttons. Most probably, the Dzire will have Level 2 ADAS, which will also make it the most affordable sedan to feature ADAS.
Secondly, the Dzire was also spied with a sunroof in the spy shots. The rest of the design will be exactly like the Swift with slight changes in the material offering, like a few premium touches on the dashboard, etc. The Dzire will not be more spacious than the Swift, as they will be based on the same platform, and the only difference they would have is the boot space. Other features, like the 9-inch Smartplay Infotainment screen, Automatic Climate Control, All four power windows, 360-degree Camera system, Push button Start/Stop, etc will be offered, too.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Engine Options
The Dzire will be powered by the new Z-series 1.2 L Petrol engine in the Swift, which is a 3-cylinder unit compared to its predecessor’s 4-cylinder unit. Even though this is a 3-cylinder unit, this engine has been reported to be very smooth and Punchy. The power figures of this engine are 80 hp & 112 Nm torque. The Petrol tank capacity is 37 litres with a claimed efficiency figure of 25 km/L. This engine will be offered in both a 5-speed Manual and a 5-speed Automated Manual Gearbox.
This same engine is also offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit that tones down the power figures to 69 hp and 70 Nm torque. The fuel efficiency of this setup is claimed to be an amazing 33 km/kg with a CNG tank of 55 litres and the Petrol tank capacity stays the same at 37 litres. This engine will only offered in a 5-speed Manual Gearbox.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Price
As we already know the Dzire will be launched on 11 November but, the prices of the new Dzire are unknown. Still, we expect the price of the 2024 Dzire to increase, as it offers a new design, engine, features, etc. We believe that Maruti could increase the price, and the new range could start from ₹6.80 lakh - ₹10.2 lakh ex-showroom.
