Kia has officially unveiled the Carens Clavis in India recently. This is said to be an updated and premium alternative to the existing Carens model. This is also the second mass-market MPV launched by the Korean carmakers. The Kia Carens Clavis will be launched in India with full pricing details on May 23, 2025.
However, pre-bookings can be made for the new MPV Kia Carens Clavis now. It has commenced from May 9, 2025, and the interested car buyers can reserve their vehicle through Kia’s official website or any authorized dealership. You’ll need to pay a token amount of ₹25,000. Carens Clavis has many upgrades compared to the current Carens.

The Kia Carens Clavis is an upgraded premium model launched as an alternative to the existing Carens lineup in India. Revealed in May 2025, this new model lineup has enhanced styling, updated interiors, and many more added features. As stated by the company, there will be more than 20 variants in the lineup. Among these, seven have already been revealed.
The seven trims include HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, and HTX+. Though the basics of the Carens Clavis are the same as Carens, the design cues and interiors have major upgrades.
There will be some high-end features like a panoramic sunroof, a classy steering wheel, etc. As per the updates, you will get 8 color options, including Pewter Olive, Glacier White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Sparkling Silver, and Clear White.
