As previously stated, the revised Hyundai i20 facelift was released in May of this year. The hatchback has a sportier look, with reworked bumpers and an eye-catching new grille.
The car is available in eight exterior colors, including three new options such as Lucid Lime Metallic, Lumen Grey Pearl, and Meta Blue Pearl, as well as two dual-tone versions. The i20 will also be available in classic colors including Phantom Black Pearl, Aurora Grey Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl, Mangrove Green Pearl, and Atlas White, some of which may be coupled with a contrasting black roof. The Indian model will almost certainly have similar color selections.
While the car is covered in a bit of camouflage, we can still figure out that the basic profile will remain the same, with small alterations such as a restyled radiator grille on the front bumper with triangular inserts on either end, a new grille, and the logo has now been repositioned to sit above the grille, on the lower section of the bonnet, a new dual-tone treatment for the rear bumper with a more visible skid plate, and a slightly modified rear-end are possible. With the premium hatch, Hyundai will most likely offer brand-new alloy wheels.
The revised i20 hatchback will feature an improved instrument panel, which will have a 4.2-inch screen on entry versions. Customers can upgrade to a 10.25-inch completely digital driver display. The upgraded touchscreen infotainment system, which is shared with other Hyundai models such as the Alcazar, is also included.
The new Hyundai i20 hatchback may come with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), such as an anti-collision system and lane keep assist. The vehicle will also provide optional ADAS features, including blind spot detection and collision avoidance, rear-cross traffic alert, and Smart Cruise Control.
The facelifted Hyundai i20 will be driven by a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder T-GDi petrol engine. It is said to have 100 or 120 horsepower. The engine will be mated with either a 6-speed iMT manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch gearbox.
According to reports, the Hyundai i20 facelift model will be released after the Exter, which is set to arrive on July 10. In the nation, the premium hatchback will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Tata Altroz.
