Well, after waiting for so long, after looking at all camouflaged spy shots, and after just assuming the features this upcoming new car would have in it, we have finally got our hands on the Spy shots of the 2024 Tata Nexon’s full visible body, with no camouflage at all. And man-o-man, Tata has made it look Stunning and how!
As there is a lot to talk about these Spy shots, so, without wasting any time, let us deep dive into this spy shot of the upcoming 2024 Tata Nexon.
The very first noticeable change in the front profile is surely the headlamp setup. Where the older Nexon gets a typical headlamp setup, with main projector headlamps at the top with DRLs, and Fog Lamps at the bottom.
But, in the upcoming 2024 Tata Nexon, we will be offered with the Tata Cars’ new-age design trait, with respect to the Headlamp setup. In which, the main headlamp unit and the DRLs will be separately placed.
Where the DRLs, as we can see in this spy shot, are placed at the top of the front bumper, just below the hood. They have also been redesigned, by giving them the ‘Tata Curvv’ like DRLs, though with one change, where in, Tata Curvv had got its DRLs turning upwards, further integrating into the hood. But over here, we can see that the 2024 Tata Nexon will be getting the DRLs turning downwards, further merging into the Side Cladding. The Indicators will also be integrated into the DRLs, moreover, the indicators will be packing the ‘Sequentially Indicating’ function as well.
Adding more to it, this time in the 2024 Tata Nexon, DRLs are integrated with Nexon’s traditional Black design insert, but this time, this black design insert has also been tweaked a bit in terms of its look. As we can see, now it has been elongated till both the front ends, and it also gets a scoop now, which runs throughout that unit. It kind of makes the 2024 Nexon look smiling in the first place, which overall gives it a positive aura. The Tata logo can be spotted attached at the centre of the Black design insert.
Talking about the Headlamps, they are now placed at the lower part of the bumper, which ultimately makes the 2024 Tata Nexon shake hands with all other Tata Cars having split headlamp setup. But over here, it is completely different. As we can see, the 2024 Nexon will be getting the ‘Tata Curvv’ inspired headlamp setup. Where, the headlights would be getting two LED projectors at each side, and they will be placed upon each other.
This whole lighting setup will be integrated into a triangular design element for both the sides, and they will be kept connected to each other with a black line, running in between.
2024 Tata Nexon will be getting redesigned Air dams. In the current 2023 Nexon, which is on-sale, it gets a total of two Air dams, out of which, the first one is situated below the Black design insert at the top of the bumper, and the second one is placed at the very bottom of the bumper.
But, the 2024 Nexon will be offered with all its Air dams placed below. They have been designed into a triangular element, in which the line which runs between the headlamps divides it, further creating two Air dam units. The upper part of it gets a 5 Slat design insert, out of which the middle slate is used for the 360 degree camera’s front unit. Whereas, the lower part’s design has parted its ways with Tata’s Tri-arrow design element used the older Nexon, and now it gets a sliced-squares kind-of design bits, which are spreaded across the lower bumper. We can also somewhat make out the presence of the Radiator grille behind it.
The 2024 Tata Nexon, will get a new set of Roof Rails. Where, they will be slightly redesigned and made taller as well, than the previous ones. Though they still might be useless, in terms of carrying weights.
The 2024 Nexon will be getting redesigned ORVMs as well, as they look different from the older ones. Though, they are still a look-a-like to its elder siblings’ ORVMs - the Harrier & the Safari - They also get the same Indicator position on the ORVMs as of the Harrier & the Safari, most probably these indicators positioned over the ORVMs, will also be receiving the ‘Sequentially Indicating’ function.
Though they are not that visible, still, we can spot the turbine-inspired Alloy design for the wheels, which states that the 2024 Tata Nexon will be getting a new design for its Alloy wheels.
And yes, this particular spied 2024 Nexon might look under-tyred, but it looks like that just because of the angle from where this photo has been clicked. Other than this, the 2024 Nexon will not look under-tyred at all, as it is to get a set of 4 big 16 inch Alloy wheels, which will be wearing Thick, Fat tyres.
The 2024 Tata Nexon will also be getting its Rear profile slightly redesigned. And most of the ‘redesigning’ part will be done with the tail lights. Where in a context, we can see that these tail lights actually get the same design language, as of the old Nexon’s Tail lights, in which at the end, they are divided into two rays, which somewhat created an UK Flag’s shape.
But, with the 2024 Nexon’s tail lights having the same design language, they are still different, because, the tail lights’ which divide themselves at both the ends, now can be seen to become more sleek, and they now create more of a ‘V’ shape, rather than an UK Flag’s shape, which looks much better! Adding more to it, now there is also a LED Brake light bar, which connects the tail lamps situated at both the ends.
Secondly, we can also notice that the Reverse Light’s position has been relocated, and now it has been placed above the Rear Reflector.
Heavy speculations from the industry tells us that the launch of the 2024 Tata Nexon will most probably take place in between 13th September to 16th September, as the official Media Drive for the 2024 Tata Nexon has been scheduled in between 4th September to 5th September.
