Tata’s new Nexon, Safari, and Harrier Facelifts have been testing on the Indian roads for a while with a ton of spy shots coming on the internet, recently on of our carversal pros (@phoujdari) sent us spy shots of the 2023 Facelifted Harrier revealing some new details about Tata’s upcoming SUV.

 

In the spy shots, the new Tata Harrier facelift has been spied completely camouflaged running on Pune roads with the back looks of the new SUV evidently, where you get a sloping type roofline design, a spoiler containing a brake light but the real new update is visible where it gets a connected light treatment with both the rear taillights being connected by a thin LED bar which runs across the entire width of the new SUV.

 

This connected light treatment gives a more futuristic look to the SUV. The lights will have a 3d look where the glass bulges over the LED bars.

 

The rear boot lid and bumper will also get a new look making the SUV much more hi-tech than it is now.

 

Powertrain

 

The new Tata Safari will get the previously offered 2.0l multi-jet diesel engine sourced from the Fiat Chrysler automotive also present in the MG Hector or the Jeep Compass but can get 400 NM Torque easily with some minor tuning and will also be offered with Tata’s newly developed 1.5L Turbocharged direct injection engine which will produce around 170 hp.

 

Launch

The new Set of Tata SUVs are expected to launch by the end of 2023 as the lineup is now pretty old and all the other competitors have already launched facelifts of their SUV so expect the launch to happen around The third quarter of 2023 with prices starting around ₹ 14 Lakhs.
