2023 New Tata Harrier and Safari Facelift Spied testing back to back with official launch in October

June 27th, 2023

The 2 Big Boys from Tata's house were bound to get a make over since a long time, as the competition had made their days in to a nightmare with some unimaginable updates. And finally we can see something exciting cooking up in Tata's house. The New 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts are being tested aggressively, and now new spy shots have appeared where both the new Tata SUVs are being tested on the same Natrax  ( spotted by our carversal pro @sulem_ayaan_khan ).

In the spy shots, both the SUVs are seen in heavy camouflage, where the Facelifted Harrier follows the Facelifted Safari., the main noticeable difference seen in both the SUVs is the front where both the SUVs get the new front fascia which is noticeably inspired by the Tata Harrier EV Concept shown at the Auto Expo 2023,

But the bigger difference visible between both the SUVs is their alloys, where the Safari is seen with 19-inch multi-spoke alloys with all new designs never seen in a Tata SUV before, whereas the Tata Harrier is seen with the basic 17-inch alloys already seen in the current Harrier.

In the second spy shot The new 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift was spied testing in Maharashtra with heavy camouflage; the front of the vehicle is quite visible in the new spy shots, which show the new headlight arrangement of the Facelifted Harrier, which comes in a connected format and are above the front connected grill which is clearly bigger in the new Vehicle. The Bumper contains the high beam and the wide beam lights of the vehicle in a vertical housing.

The front bumper also contains the ADAS sensor which is clearly visible as covered in the front bumper, and also includes a new grey front cladding type to enhance the looks of the vehicle.

On the side, the facelifted Harrier will be pretty much the same as the old one with new 18-inch alloys which will be smaller than the 19-inch ones which will be offered in the Top Spec Facelifted Safari to differentiate between the two SUVs.

Powertrain

The new Tata Harrier and Safari will get the same 2.0l multi-jet diesel engine sourced from the Fiat Chrysler automotive also present in the MG Hector or the Jeep Compass, but, can get 400 NM Torque easily with some minor tuning. Speculations say that, The Safari and the Harrier might also be offered with Tata’s newly developed 1.5L Turbocharged direct injection engine which will produce around 170 hp. This Petrol engine will boost the carmaker to pitch both the cars widely towards customers with Petrol likings. And it will also bring the products in to the safer side, as Diesel's future is not well, according to some reports.

Launch

The new Set of Tata SUVs are expected to launch by the end of 2023 as the lineup is now pretty old, and all the other competitors have already launched facelifts of their SUV, so expect the launch to happen around The third quarter of 2023 with prices starting around ₹ 14 Lakhs

But, one of the Tata DEALER has confirmed that the SUVs will launch by October 2023 so last quarter of the year.
